Just a friendly reminder all!

Our website utilizes a powerful CMS and has many tools for your disposal. Currently there isn't too much use for the Support Desk, but we do have a Game Release section! All you have to do is submit your game name and release date (other information is welcome) to me and it will be added! We also have a links section, where your website link can be posted! The image gallery feature will allow you to create an image gallery for your game and post images hosted right here on OGC! Please take advantage of these opportunities! Also remember that the website is linked with the forums, so same information logs you into both!

As I sit here porting the VB6 Playerworlds to meet MS4 standards, I call to mind recent worry by community members of the change and move of Lethe to VB.NET. Since Playerworlds will also be moved to .NET, I see no harm in releasing the new Playerworlds VB6 edition, after initial testing, into the open-source area. Hopefully you will find it a suitable, well-programmed, well-organized alternative to past let-downs of Elysium. Please let me know how you feel about this. If it seems to be popular I will have no problem adding recomended standards and basics for future source releases.

Hello all. I'd like to spend the next however long it takes to read this talking about releases, why they seem slow, benefits to waiting, and hopefully calm some of you down.

The point was made, and has been made in the past that those working on these engines are doing so in spare time. I understand this does not alleviate many of you, trust me. I have been on the other side of this coin back in the days when Kael ran Playerworlds. it was not easy never getting updates, but what was worse is that he never said a single word. Period. He would have you kiss his feet when he released anything, demanding appreciation and near worship for his piece of shit engine. I'd like to think we don't do that here, so I am having a difficult time seeing the issue.

All of us on staff live lives outside of the internet. We have friends, family, jobs, school, etc. When we do get online we are often working on something, and most of the time its these projects. I personally know Liz works on Lethe a lot. We talk all the time, obviously because we have the <3, and she is always telling me about something or other she is doing that I really don't care to understand. Haha.

Also understand that developers don't want to fill you in on every tiny change and fix and conversion they make. You'd get so many tiny worthless updates that it'd begin to get tiresome. Some of these updates may even anger you to think "why did you even post this worthless tiny update?" We don't want that. We want updates to have substance and something worth updating about. Conversion takes awhile on the Playerworlds side, but conversion for Lethe means all-in-all faster development.

Please understand that we do value your dedication and continued activity here, and there are results on the way. It may not be the answer you wanted, but we can't pull now out of our asses, and we'd rather give quality than crap.

Well all, after a lot of moving around and uploading and a bit of software manipulation, all of the downloads can be found on the Download section of the website. Everything is in ZIP format, so Windows' default zip program shall work, or WinRAR shall work. Enjoy. Let us know if you encounter any issues while downloading so we can address them right away.

Well, after changing a few things and getting the basics finally setup, I was able to add a support system which can be found under the Home menu. Simply submit a ticket to the correct department and the team will get back to you and hopefully help you find the error. However, please check the forums before asking a question, as many times the question has been asked and answered. Please note this means that the Mantis bug report system will no longer be used. Thank you!
